Issue/Introduction

APMIA Agent is not reporting CPU, Memory, and Disk information for the EC2s where we have deployed MQs.

Resolution

Host Monitoring extension is needed to get the disk, CPU, memory, and network metrics.

Under the <APMIA home>/apmia/extensions folder make sure Host Monitoring extension is added. If it is missing you can take following steps.

You do not have reinstall the new agent, just copy the Host Monitoring extension gz file from new package to the agent install location.

You can take the following steps

Created a new agent package and add the Host Monitoring extension. Please use same agent version and extension.

Download the install package.

Extract the install package and get the Host Monitoring extension gz file from <Extracted location>/apmia/extensions/deploy.

Stop the AIMIA agent.

Drop the Host Monitoring extension gz file at <APMIA home>/apmia/extensions/deploy under

start the AIMIA agent.
