Issue/Introduction

Seeing the following issue for CEME Zowe. What is causing the following error message?

ZaasClientErrorCodes{id='ZWEAS404E', message='Gateway service is unavailable', returnCode=404}

No errors from Tomcat CEMEZOWE or CEMEZOWE gateway

z/os CEM and Zowe

Cause

This error in the syslog shows CEMSTC not correctly authorized

ACF04056 ACCESS TO RESOURCE IRRPTAUTH.CEMPSRVR.SYS0033 TYPE RPTK BY CEMSTC NOT AUTHORIZED

Resolution

Authorize CEMSTC to resource IRRPTAUTH.CEMPSRVR.SYS0033
