ERROR: "The object is either deleted or is not completely created" in Update manager

Issue/Introduction

After adding a host to the vCenter server inventory and viewing the "Updates" tab under the object, the following error is presented:

The object is either deleted or is not completely created

Below is a screenshot of the error:

Resolution

Restart the update manager service to clear the error by running the following command on vCenter:

service-control --restart vmware-updatemgr
