Workflows using SQL Plug-In become unresponsive in Orchestrator of VMware Aria Automation 8.17

Issue/Introduction

• During execution of vRO workflows that contain scriptable tasks that execute SQL queries that use the SQL plugin these workflow hang and do not complete.
• Trying to access the inventory of the SQL databases hangs as well.

Environment

vRO 8.17

Resolution

1. Ensure VMware Aria Automation is on a supported version. 
2. Restart the appliance.
3. Restart the workflow.
