This Knowledge base Article help with commands to identify the version of underlying Ubuntu OS on which Aria Operations for Network Appliances are running

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.13.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Resolution

There are 4 commands to check for the underlying OS which is Ubuntu running on the Aria Operations for Networks appliance(s).

See below steps:

1. Take as putty session to any of the  Aria Operations for Networks appliance(s) 6.12.1 in your deployment.

2. Login with username support

3. Execute any of the below commands 

ub
lsb_release -a
hostnamectl
cat /etc/lsb-release
cat /etc/os-release

Additional Information

When you upgrade Aria Operations for Networks from older version to a newer version example( 6.12 to 6.14) the underlying Ubuntu OS version is also upgrade along with.

No need to separately upgrade the Ubuntu OS
