applyptf.exe error Failed to get products configuration information

Issue/Introduction

Execution of applyptf.exe to install a fix returns following error :

Failed to get products configuration information

Environment

Client Automation - All Versions

Cause

This problem could occur if Applyptf.exe could not find the file applyptf.ini

Resolution

Make sure that applyptf.ini is present in same directory as applyptf.exe
