Check the value of REMOTE_SYSTEM= in your .cnf or .xml file used for the transfer. If you specified an IP name, then chances are that there is a DNS problem or timeout that can cause the message. Specify the actual IP address instead of the IP name until you are able to determine the problem with the DNS.
