Issue/Introduction

None of the SCDF resources created from an application in Spring Boot 3 could be launched in Java 21.

This is the error message displayed in the TAS interface logs:
 

[ERR] Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: fr/pe/oi155/BatchOIApplication has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 61.0.

Environment

Spring Cloud Data Flow for VMware Tanzu prior to 1.14.7

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in Spring Cloud Data Flow for VMware Tanzu 1.14.7 scheduled to be released end of July, 2025.
