Issue/Introduction

  • Precheck fails in SDDC Manager UI with error "SDDC Manager depot url is not configured in vCenter" 



  • Checking in the vSphere UI > Lifecycle Manager > Settings > Download Sources the SDDC custom depot URL is missing 

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x 

Resolution

In the vSphere Client navigate to Lifeclcye Manager > Settings > Download sources > New 

Add in the following URL adjusting for the SDDC Manger FQDN: 

https://<sddcManagerFQDN>/vmware/vcf/umds/patch-store/hostupdate/__hostupdate20-consolidated-index__.xml
