Compliance check for recovery plans in VLCR fail temporarily during upgrade of VLCR components.

• Compliance check failure alerts are seen in the VLCR UI. 
• Recovery plan may change status from GOOD to CRITICAL
• May receive an email notification before the upgrade 

Hi Team, 

We are currently releasing a new version of VMware Live Cyber Recovery (VLCR) code. Your system has some uncommitted Disaster Recovery Plans in your VLCR UI that will need to be committed before the upgrade can proceed. Can you please check your VLCR UI for any uncommitted plans and respond back to this email once these have been committed? 

 

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.27.x

Cause

During the upgrade the VLCR components will be briefly unavailable and the health check will fail and report alerts in the VLCR UI. The upgrade itself may fail if there are any uncommitted recovery plans

Resolution

This is an expected behaviour, the upgrade usually takes about 8 hours. For the upgrade to run smootly, please committ any uncommitted plans.
