Issue/Introduction

While installing Symantec DLP Domain Controller Agent error pops up:

 

Environment

Symantec DLP Domain Controller Agent installed from DLP software earlier than 16.0.1.

Cause

It is software defect with installation packages due to DLP-71676 and missing jsoncpp.dll file.
Problem is fixed in 16.0.1: Symantec Data Loss Prevention 16.0.1 Release Update (RU)

 

 

Resolution

Use fixed version of software for installation.
