Getting blank report in Aria Operation

Issue/Introduction

The report Capacity | Cluster CPU Utilization under : Aria Operations UI > Operations > Reports is generating a blank output.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

• The report was initially generated using a non-admin user account.
• The user account originally used was linked to an old group from vCenter.

Resolution

1.Generate the report using ADMIN account

2.Steps to Integrate AD and Resolve Report Generation Issue in Aria Operations

• Navigate to:

• • Aria Operations UI > Administration > Control Panel > Authentication Sources

• Add Active Directory Account:

  • Click on "Add" to integrate the required AD account into Aria Operations.

• Synchronize the Directory:

  • Select the newly added AD entry.

  • Click on "Synchronize" to ensure all users and groups are updated.

• Add New AD Group:

  • From the synchronized list, add the required AD group.

  • Assign administrative privileges to this group as needed.

• Re-generate the Report:

  • Navigate to:

    • Aria Operations UI > Operations > Reports

  • Locate and generate the report again, e.g., Capacity | Cluster CPU Utilization.

• Verify the Report Output:

  • Ensure the report now displays the expected data.
