unable to see assessment policy when logged in as a different user on salt-config UI

Issue/Introduction

When logged in as a AD user, users cannot see the existing assessment policy created with the account "root"

Environment

Salt-config 8.17

Cause

Role assigned to the AD user does not have access to targets for the resource action

Resolution

 

Grant the role access to the minion target that is associated to the assessment.

Administration > Role > AD user Role > targets > Enable the toggle "Targets" 

From the target list, grant "read-write" permission to the target in question
