VMware Aria Operations for Networks
vRealize Network Insight
High amount of Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS) under the vCenter is the cause of the timeout error.
To resolve the issue, perform multiple retries to enable IPFIX within a 10-minute timeframe. Each retry prompts Aria Operations for Networks (AON) to cache Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS) information. After a few attempts, all relevant DVS data will be cached, allowing IPFIX to be successfully enabled.
Note: The cached DVS information remains valid for 10 minutes. If the timeframe expires before IPFIX is successfully enabled, the cache will be cleared, and the process will need to be restarted.
