Issue/Introduction

CCA Web Hangs when changing filter Value in a Servers table view

This problem occurs for "Access Profile" or "Management Profile" Columns

Environment

Configuration Automation 12.9.0.126 or older version.

Resolution

This problem is resolved in version 12.9.0.131
Open a case at Broadcom Technical Support and ask for Configuration Automation 12.9.0.131
Then upgrade the server to this version.

As workaround, manually position the cursor at end of the word. 
Hit the Keyboard Arrow down, and the Use Default appear.
After that it is possible to drop down the select box.

12.9.0.131:

This patch contains the following issue fixes:

1. CCA Web Hangs when changing filter Value. This Problem occurs with the "Access Profile" and "Management Profile" 

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. On Servers, select "Configure Table View" in Table Actions
2. create a new Table View TEST1
3. let the default settings and in Filter tab put Management Profile Matches Discover and Manage Application Server
4. In Servers, select the view TEST1 and click on button for Value List, it hangs with "Please Wait." message

After applying the patch current issue will be resolved.

This patch includes the customer fixes after the CA Configuration Automation 12.9 release.


Installation
--------------
Follow the instructions below:

This Patch requires CCA 12.9 GA English version as a prerequisite. Release 12.9.0.54 or higher

1.Before running the installer binary make sure you stop the CCA Services (Both CCA Server as well as Grid)
2.Run the installer installserver64.exe if CCA was installed using installserver64.exe
3.If there are any grids installed then upgrade them using installgridnode64.exe
4.After the upgrade is completed, start the CCA services and login into CCA UI and click on "About" link,It can be noticed that the version is updated to r12.9.0.131 build
5.After upgrade if you notice that version is not updated then you may need to delete the browser history and cache to see the updated version

Note: Apply this patch on test environment before applying it to the production environment.
