Environment

Cause

The SRM UI is reporting a stale entry after ESXI host is removed from vCenter Inventory.

Resolution

To remove the stale host under Replications Servers from the HMS database.

Note: Before you begin take a snapshot of the Replication Appliance.

1. Connect to hms db

./opt/vmware/hms/bin/embedded_db_connect.sh

2. Find the movalue of Host IP Address

vrmsdb=#select movalue from hbrserverentity where vsrv_address = '##.##.##.##';

3. Log in to the HMS MOB at: https://<target-hms>:8043/mob?moid=site-manager&vmodl=1 with VC administrator.

4. Click on "unregisterHbrServer." Enter the movalue and invoke the method. This will remove the HBR server(##.##.##.##) from the HMS database.

5. Restart the HMS service of target site.
