Issue/Introduction

  • You are attempting to view the /internal/config page, but the following HTML is shown instead 
    Failed to load server settings: <html><head><title>Servlet Error | Operations for Logs</title><style>Page not found</h2><div class='error-page-message'>Sorry, the page you were looking for does not exist</div></div></body></html>
  • After navigating to /internal/config, you see an entry like below in the /storage/core/loginsight/var/ui_runtime.log file
     ["https-openssl-apr-443-exec-9"/XX.XX.XX.XX ERROR] [com.vmware.loginsight.web.actions.APIProxyActionBean] [Error creating SSL socket factory.]
java.security.KeyStoreException: problem accessing trust store
...
Caused by: java.io.EOFException

Environment

VMware Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

Cause

The trust store on the appliance is corrupted.
