Does Network Observability DX NetOps support FIPS compliant certificates?

Issue/Introduction

Question coming from cyber team: can the app handle a FIPS compliant certificate.

Are the Broadcom applications able handle a FIPS compliant certificate from a CA? We want to confirm support for FIPS compliant certs.

Environment

All supported Network Observability DX NetOps Performance Management and Spectrum releases

Cause

Environment requires FIPS be enabled with CA Signed certificates at the OS level

Resolution

Network Observability NetOps Performance Management and Spectrum engineering have tested with FIPS enabled.

No testing has been performed for FIPS with a CA signed certificate in place.

Engineering notes that no issues should be anticipated with any functionality if FIPS is configured with a CA signed certificate.
