Why does AESENC(NONE) show up in a TSS MODIFY STATUS display?
When the security file was formatted, it was not formatted with AESENCRYPT or AES256ENCRYPT which activate 128 bit and 256 bit password encryption, respectively. When AESENC(NONE) is set, Top Secret uses triple-DES encryption instead.
AESENC indicates whether or not AESENCRYPT or AES256ENCRYPT has been activated.
