Issue/Introduction

Question:

Why does AESENC(NONE) show up in a TSS MODIFY STATUS display?

Answer:

When the security file was formatted, it was not formatted with AESENCRYPT or AES256ENCRYPT which activate 128 bit aand 256 bit password encryption, respectively. AESENC indicates whether or not AESENCRYPT or AES256ENCRYPT has been activated.
