SOI UI server drive space low

Issue/Introduction

In our SOI UI server we are running low on drive space on the server. The following directory path is taking up a lot of drive space:

\SOI\SamUI\solr\data\index

 

 

Environment

Release: SOI 4.2
Component: SOI UI Server

Resolution

That directory path is used to create temporary files used by the SOI UI server that can be safely deleted. To delete them stop the following services on the server:

 

CA SAM Store Indexer

CA SAM UI Server

 

Now you can delete the files in the folder and restart the SOI services.
