SOI UI server drive space low.

Issue/Introduction

Question:  

Why is the SOI UI server running low on drive space on the server? The following directory path is taking up a lot of drive space:

 

\SOI\SamUI\solr\data\index

 

Answer: 

That directory path is used to create temporary files used by the SOI UI server that can be safely deleted. To delete them stop the following services on the server:

 

CA SAM Store Indexer

CA SAM UI Server

 

Now you can delete the files in the folder and restart the SOI services.
