New jobs do not submit to Z/OS Agent.

Issue/Introduction

When submitting new jobs to Z/OS agent, the jobs do not submit.

Environment

Z/OS

Cause

The file specified for COMMQ on the Z/OS server is full.

Resolution

Restart the Z/OS agent with this option: 

 

              S zos_stc, PARM=CQFORMAT  

Create a new file for COMMQ and then re-start the agent using that file.

Additional Information

Note: Provide adequate space to the file so that it does not fill up frequently.
