Dashboards missing after installing or upgrading VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for Storage Devices 8.12

Issue/Introduction

• You installed or upgraded the VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for Storage Devices 8.12 but the dashboards are missing.
• An error is seen in the /storage/vcops/log/vcops-bridge.log

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

There is a corruption with the dashboard file contained within the management pack file.

Resolution

1. Download the PhysicalStorage.json file attached at the bottom of this KB
2. Log in to Aria Operations and navigate to Operations > Dashboards and click Manage
3. Click the vertical three dots button and select Import
4. Click Browse and locate the PhysicalStorage.json file downloaded in step 1
5. Select the Overwrite radio button in In Case of conflict:
6. Click Import
7. Verify the Import Dashboard dialog shows Dashboard imported successfully
8. Click Done
9. Expand All and review the dashboards that were imported to the Physical Storage Dashboards section
