Any Applications fail to function after Vmtools upgrade in the environment

As the issue is after installation, which needs the scope from the application end to point where the cause is on the vmtools 12.5.0, from there we will be able to navigate the cause of the issue.
With the Application vendor analysis, the below files are required for further analysis:
- %temp%/vminst*.log
- %temp%/vmmsi*.log
- C:\windows\temp\vminst*.log
- C:\windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log
Note that: %temp% and C:\windows\temp\ may differ and both file sets should be provided (when they exist).
