Issue/Introduction

When viewing views of consolidated virtual interface/interface items, initially the interface name is displayed, then when sorting the alias is displayed.

Environment

DX NetOps 24.3.3 and later

Cause

If the alias is only set on the Interface item and not on the virtual Interface item, it is indeterminate which will be displayed.

Resolution

This issue is currently under review by Broadcom Engineering.
This issue will be updated as this progresses.
