  • When logging into the vCenter Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) user may notice the vAPI services are not able to start for the vCenter
  • Ran the VDT Tool from KB:Using the VCF Diagnostic Tool for vSphere (VDT) and this showed solution user certificates were expired on the vCenter
  • Only the machine certificate was replaced due to expiry while the solution users were also expired and needed to be replaced

Environment

VMware vCenter Server

Resolution

Solution user certificates were expired. Ran through KB: Using vSphere Certificate Manager to Replace SSL Certificates and option 6 to replace the solution user certificates on the vCenter.
