Issue/Introduction

Post upgrading Tanzu Application Service (TAS) to TILE v4.0.31, Appsmanger UI is throwing the below banner message/Warning when the user attempts to manage apps (ie start, stop, restage, etc).

Environment

TAS v4.0.31

Cause

This version of TAS (v4.0.31) may break (via token deletion) packaged Appsmanger version v677.0.60 if status code 401 is received from any source.

Resolution

Upgrade to one of the below versions of TAS / TPCF which contain the fixed/patched versions of Appsmanager.

TAS: v4.0.37, v6.0.17, v10.2.0, v10.0.7

With the above patched TAS versions, only 401's recieved from the configured UAA url or CAPI urls should result in the token deletion.

If you need to apply changes to TAS and know you are going to be impacted by this issue, you may deselect the "Apps Manager Errand" until you are able to upgrade to a fixed version.
