How to prevent the Auto Approval in their own entities?

Issue/Introduction

What was occurring is that if my manager delegates my work, and a certification campaign is launched for my manager, for example a user privileges campaign, my manager and I will receive the same task, including the approval or my own user.

Environment

Identity Governance 14.x

Cause

The root cause is the property "certification.preventSelfApproval" which by default is set to false

Resolution

The property must be set to true as follow:

- Open Identity Governance UI

- Menu, Administration > Settings > Property Settings

- In the "Filter Properties Keys Containing" field, type the property "certification.preventSelfApproval" without quotes

- Edit the property and change its value from false to true

- Change the Type to "Database property" and click Save button.

 

Now the new certification will prevent the self approval.
