VMware Cloud Director adapter issue when generating related dashboards/reports

Issue/Introduction

• Cannot see any tenant object in vCloud Director adapter world.
• VCD World object gives a value of 0 for the metric - General|Number of Virtual Machines

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

vCloud Director 10.x 

vCloud Director Management Pack 8.x

Cause

Certain values in the adapter advanced settings are set to False when they should be blank instead

This issue may occur after upgrade from 8.14 to 8.16 or by being manually changed.

Resolution

Adjust the VCD adapter advanced settings as per the screenshot below:

• Filter By Provider VCDs List (should be blank not False)
• Filter by Organization List  (should be blank not False)
