Getting multiple alerts for memory utilization of Aria Automation

Issue/Introduction

• Aria Operations was configured to trigger alerts if the memory utilization is higher then 80%
• since upgrade of Aria Automation to version 8.18.x regular alerts are triggered due to high memory utilization above 80%

 

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.x

Cause

With Aria Automation version 8.18.x new services have been added, however internal testing showed it was not required to extend the current Sizing Guidelines.

Resolution

The default Aria Automation health check is configured to fail is the memory usage is larger or equal then 90%.

The configured alert in Aria Operations can therefor be adjusted or a the environment can be configured to use a higher profile.

If the environment is already configured with XL profile then more RAM can be added as required.
