Error code LCMVRLISYSTEM45029 received at stage 7 deploying Aria Operations for Logs via Aria Suite Lifecycle

Issue/Introduction

We are receiving below error during the cluster configuration/deployment process of Aria Operations for logs causing the failure of the deployment request.

Error Code: LCMVRLISYSTEM45029

Environment

VMware Aria Operations for Logs 8.18
VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18

Cause

The certificate applied to Aria Operations for Logs during the deployment did not contain the node IPs as part of the Subject Alternate Name (SAN) field causing the VMware Identity Manager integration to fail SSL trust.

Resolution

Solution

Use a certificate that contains the Aria Operations for Logs node IP addresses in the SAN field.

Workaround

1. Log in to Aria Suite Lifecycle and navigate to Lifecycle Operations > Requests
2. Open the failed deployment task and click Retry
3. Set skipTask to true
4. After the deployment succeeds, manually configure the integration with VMware Identity Manager inside of Aria Operations for Logs using steps from the documentation
