To use an existing work order to check out modules which were not originally assigned to a programmer when the Work Order was created, a manager or programmer will need the work order reassigned to them. The CCF Administrator or the manager who has administration authority can reassign a Work Order.
Perform the following steps with CCF Administrator authority:
Verify the new Programmer and Manager IDs are defined in the CCF Tables:
- Option 12.1 (User Definition)
- Option 12.2 (Manager Definition)
- Option 12.3 (Programmer Table)
Navigate to Option 12 (ADMIN SERVICES) from the CCF Primary Option Menu.
Select Option 9 (REASSIGN).
Enter the following details:
- REQUEST ID: Leave blank to reassign all requests.
- PROGRAMMER: Enter the ID of the departing programmer.
- REASSIGN TO PROGRAMMER: Enter the new programmer's ID.
Press Enter to execute.
Note: If the ASSIGNMENT or REASSIGN lines are not visible, ensure your ISPF Terminal Characteristics (Option 0) are set to Screen format: 3 (MAX) or enter the command pfshow off.
Verify visibility: The new programmer should now see the modules under Option 3 (Display assigned change requests).
