Issue/Introduction

  •  NSX edge clusters are missing on SDDC Manager's UI for the management and the workload domains but are present/listed in NSX-T Manager's UI

Environment

  • VMware SDDC Manager 5.x

Cause

  • Listed all the NSX Edge clusters in SDDC DB, two of the edge clusters do not have the source ID in the list and when cross-checked those edge clusters in NSX-T Manager's UI, they are not present, they have been deleted from the NSX-T Manager directly before the upgrade

To list all the NSX Edge clusters from SDDC DB

    SSH into the SDDC Manager

    root@sddc [ ]# psql -h localhost -U postgres -d platform -c "select id,name,source_id from nsxt_edge_cluster;"

    The output looks similar to:

                   id | name | source_id
