Issue/Introduction

The current Product Lifecycle page on Broadcom’s support portal lists the End of Service (EOS) date for RabbitMQ version 4.0.x as 31-Mar-2026, which appears earlier than the EOS date for the older 3.13.x version (31-Dec-2027). This discrepancy has raised concerns and questions regarding versioning and support timelines.

Resolution

The End of Service date for RabbitMQ 4.0.x has been extended through 2027. The Product Lifecycle page will be updated to reflect this change once the necessary approvals are finalized.

Additionally, upgrade procedures have been improved. Customers are no longer required to follow sequential upgrades. For example, users running RabbitMQ 3.13.x can now upgrade directly to 4.1.x, skipping intermediate versions such as 4.0.x. This enhancement simplifies the upgrade process and reduces potential downtime.
