VM resource requirements in Catalog Template not respected during creation of vApp.

Issue/Introduction

• Deploying a vApp from a vApp template and using the settings default, the newly deployed VM have only 1 CPU / 512 MB memory
• Issue occurring after the upgrade to Cloud Director 10.6.1

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

This is an issue identified in the UI at coding level which is not retaining the correct sizing values for the Sizing Policy applied.

Resolution

The issue has been fixed in Cloud Director 10.6.1.1 which can be downloaded here..

The workaround is to manually change the sizing value while deploying the new vApp from the vApp Template.
