sql_response probe operating system issue - probe not deploying on Linux

Issue/Introduction

You are trying to set up the sql_response probe on a linux server but it does not get deployed. It does get deployed fine when you use a Windows server instead. The deployment appears to succeed but the probe doesn't appear.

Environment

DX UIM 20.4 and higher
sql_response probe - all versions

Resolution

The sql_response is supported only on Windows.  This is noted in the Probe Compatibility Spreadsheet which can be found here:

As an alternative for Linux, consider the jdbc_response probe, which has similar functionality but is platform independent using JDBC drivers instead of native SQL drivers:
