Issue/Introduction

You may noticed the following while using ITMS 8.8 Release:

You have created a security role (or you are a Member of Symantec Software Librarian), and when the end user navigates to Manage > Software > Add Software > Import  Package, they receive the following error:

An error has occurred during creation of software package. Check server logs for details.

Errors in SMP log:

WebApi Controller failure.

Add Read permission for "Package Distribution Points Status" dataclass to the security role using Security Role Manager.
