Stop button on Reports page doesn't seem to do anything

Issue/Introduction

On many of the tabs in the Reports section of Security Analytics, there is a red stop button next to the green Update button.  

This button is used to stop a report that has been initiated.  In Security Analytics 8.3.1, clicking on this button doesn't seem to do anything.  There is no feedback or indication that the button has actually done anything.  The reports page may immediately show 100% complete or it may show 100% with a Failed message.

Resolution

This is working as designed.  Even though it seems that the report is still going after clicking the button, it is stopping the report.  If you are on a Central Manager, it may take some additional time for all the connected sensors to receive the "stop" action.  However, the report should halt within a few seconds.  If you need to run the same report again, you will first need to Clear Report Cache under the Actions dropdown on the right and then you can run the report again.  Or you can change the search parameters or the search timeframe as well.
