Unable to view VM details when opening the Virtual Machine in vSphere Client option from VMware Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to view VM details when opening the Virtual Machine in vSphere Client option from VMware Aria Operations
• Opening a Virtual Machine in vSphere Web Client in Aria Ops do not show the VM details and shows only the Cluster level view in vSphere UI

Cause

Shows VMs is disabled in Host and Cluster view in vSphere UI

Resolution

1. Login to vSphere UI in the browser
   
   Example:

   https://vcsa01.example.com

2. Locate the login information on the right hand top > click on the drop down > My Preferences
   
   
   
   
3. Click on Inventory > Check the box "Show VMs in Hosts and Clusters View
   
   
   
   
4. Click Save
5. Retry the Operation from Aria Operations
