Issue/Introduction

How to add or manage " LDAP_X_OPT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT " and " PRLDAP_OPT_IO_MAX_TIMEOUT " timeout settings in CA siteminder environment?

Regarding the following timeout settings, where do we set these?

Is there a reference registry file with these settings that we can use? Could not find anything in the Registry (sm.registry) file

PRLDAP_OPT_IO_MAX_TIMEOUT

Environment

Component: CA Siteminder Policy Server (SMPLC)
Version: 12.8.xx.xx and 12.9 (Applicable to all the supported releases)
Operating System: Windows and Linux

Resolution

Please note that we do NOT have any separate registry settings for the below parameters and these are calculated from the " LDAPPingTimeout " registry key and will pass to the LDAP driver through API.
