No Flow Data Visible from NSX-T Data Source in Aria Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

• The NSX-T data source was successfully added to VCF Operations for Networks. However, after the integration, no flow data is visible in the platform.
• As shown in the screenshot below, there are no flows reported under Settings > Accounts and Data Sources, even though the NSX-T data source appears validated.

Environment

• Aria Operations for Networks (AON)
• vRealize Operations for Networks (vRNI)

Cause

One of the most likely causes is that DFW IPFIX is not enabled in Aria Operations for Networks for the configured NSX-T data source, as shown in the screenshot below.

Resolution

In Aria Operations for Networks, the DFW IPFIX feature must be enabled to view flow data from the NSX-T data source.
