Adding vTPM post VM deployment causes VM to reboot in a loop

Issue/Introduction

After new deployment of VM, the VM keeps rebooting automatically with a brief error screen similar to below:

Environment

VMware ESXi 6.7

Cause

Guest OS configuration issue

Resolution

Work with Guest OS vendor to configure for the addition of the vTPM or deploy the VM with vTPM added from the start.
