Remediation when SDDC Mgr reports it cannot determine CVDS uplinks during Edge expansion

Issue/Introduction

Under some circumstances, SDDC Manager will fail to initiate an Edge cluster expansion with an error such as "Cannot determine NSX enabled VDS uplinks for existing Edge node".

 

Environment

VCF 4.3 and later.

Cause

This is normally due to additional post-deployment configuration changes made by the user.

Resolution

Please check each of the existing Edge nodes in the Edge cluster to be expanded. SDDC Manager expects all of the Edge nodes to have two data uplinks, and all within a single vCenter cluster to share the same two data uplinks. If this is not the case, it must be corrected
