Troubleshouting Egress Network Failure from Kubernetes Pods

Issue/Introduction

Pods within a TKGI Kubernetes cluster are unable to establish full outbound network connections to any external destination.

Ping to external IPs (e.g., 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, target 2.2.2.2) results in 100% packet loss.

Resolution

Use NSX Traceflow to troubleshoot and see what can be possibly blocking the connection. Check the following KB article to see an example of a distributed firewall rule blocking it.
