Is ddmdb_optimize required / recommended ?

Issue/Introduction

We have had this cron job running on our SpectrorSERVERS for a long time and would like to know if it is still required / recommended as the mysql db version has moved on.

We have migrated for REL7 to REL8 and the cron jobs have been lost and would require redeployment if still needed...

Environment

any supported Spectrum release

Resolution

Script should run everywhere the Archive Manager is running (including the Secondary SS).
