Vscode/ Explorer for Endevor connection to Endevor REST API failed with error code 502

Issue/Introduction

One user installed Code4Z and started to connect to Endevor using the URL "http://host:port/EndevorService/rest" and got error code 502.

The Explorer for Endevor log as below:

2025-06-03T08:07:22.840Z - [Dev1(I)] Modify Endevor connection command was called.
2025-06-03T08:07:22.840Z - Prompt for URL.
2025-06-03T08:07:28.415Z - Unable to connect to Endevor Web Services.
2025-06-03T08:07:28.415Z - Unable to fetch Endevor Web Services API version because of error:
Rest API failure with HTTP(S) status 502.

The other users on the same site can use same connection URL using the same Explorer for Endevor version and can connect to Endevor without any issue.

Cause

This user who got 502 error is running an outdated VS Code version. 

Resolution

Upgrade VS Code to the latest version.
