Issue/Introduction

While deploying Aria Operations for Logs, the precheck fails with "Either have a standalone cluster setup or have minimum 3 to a maximum 18 nodes for a valid cluster setup" even if the number of nodes being deployed is less than/equal to 18.

In vmware_vrlcm.log, we see below errors:

Environment

VMware Aria Suite 8.x

Cause

This happens due to the currently set up precheck logic in LCM validation checks for Aria Operations for Logs. 

Broadcom Engineering is aware of this issue.

Resolution

This will be addressed in future releases of Aria Suite Lifecycle.

Workaround:

On the "Create Environment" wizard, disable the toggle for "Run precheck on Submit" on the "Summary" page:
