Need alerts that are using aws.ec2. metric

Issue/Introduction

I have a production release which would affect the alerts that are already created using this metric "aws.ec2.*". I tried searching the wavefront alerts page to get the alerts but it does searches for aws or ec2.

Alert searching does not support wildcard.

Use the following procedure

 

1) Needs to use browse -> Metric and enter aws.ec2. to perform the search

2) Get the actual metric containing aws.ec2 like ws.ec2.statuscheckfailed_system

3) Use that metric name in the Alerting to perform the search for existing Alerts containing that metric.
