We are seeing excessive disconnects between the SpectroSERVER and the Archive Manager

Issue/Introduction

We have noticed that we are seeing Archive Manager disconnects from the SpectroSERVER every 60 seconds.  The disconnect usually is cleared the same second, but we are seeing many alarms in the cleared alarm history tab about every 60 seconds.

Environment

Spectrum: Any

Cause

System hosts files are not being used and the DNS lookups take longer then expected.

Resolution

Spectrum relies heavily on hostname resolution and this can be both short name and FQDN.

We recommend to use the host files and have them correctly populated with both short name (hostname) and FQDN along with IP Address.
