Issue/Introduction

  • When trying to run day 2 action 'rebuild' using a different URL for imagRef than what was used when originally deploying the VM you see the following error:
    Error: 'Given imageRef: https://some-url-here not found for compute: [/resources/compute/<ID>]

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

  • Running the 'rebuild' day 2 action using a different URL than what the deployment was initially deployed through ImageRef currently is unsupported and a limitation of the product code.

Resolution

  • Please open case with support
